- A horse's digestive system is about 100 feet long
- Baby horses can walk after a few hours after birth
- Horses usually sleep standing up
- They can't burp or vomit
- You can tell how old a horse is by looking at it's teeth!
- Horses can only breathe throught their noses
- When measuring how tall a horse is, you use a unit of measurment called a 'hand' (4 inches/ 10.3cm)
- If a horse is mostly white with black or brown ears, it's called a medicine cap horse
